Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Testimonials
Aboka from Capability Career Group led our community in Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Workshop, a subject prevalent with Canada’s realization of existence of systemic and institutional racism after the May 2020 Black Lives Matter protests. The session that was so powerful and engaging. It completely shook us all awake by breaking stereotypes and prejudices that we may knowingly or unknowingly hold, backed by a wealth of knowledge and experience. She kept it light and conversational at times while also powerfully sending the serious message that we all bleed red and the need for change on racism is very very real. She empowered us to go inwards and assess our own biases and recognize that change starts from within us. Aboka knows how to bring community together. She knows how to educate and empower, and she does it extremely well. She is an incredible speaker and facilitator, and this was hands down, the most engaging two hours I’ve spent in any workshop. This conversation is very necessary, and I cannot recommend her enough.― JL, Culture Evangelist – Work Nicer Coworking
Everline is a force of nature, wrapped in a beautiful, soft and kind shell. She has a way of being passionate yet understanding. She is open-minded and listens and truly absorbs and processes what is being said—she lives in the moment. Her presentations on Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging provide thought-provoking conversations and allow people to express themselves in a safe environment. She’s also very conscious of ensuring that everyone who wants to, participates. It’s not always easy to get everyone to participate, she does a stellar job and her workshops make a true impact because of her facilitation abilities. #confident ~ TL― TL, Marketing Specialist – FreshInk Communications

I was lucky enough to attend one of Everline’s diversity & inclusion seminars recently. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, but she also has a talent for making everyone feel comfortable and safe when discussing such a difficult subject. I left the seminar a better person then I came in. Thank you, Everline for empowering people to educate themselves and stand up in the face of systemic and institutional racism.― DM, Graphic Designer – Brandwash Marketing
